A scholar in context

Taqī al-Dīn Aḥmad ibn Taymiyyah was a Ḥanbalī jurist and theologian whose writings range across law, creed, scripture, logic, spirituality, politics, and the history of religious ideas.

Al-Jawāb al-Ṣaḥīḥ responds to the Letter from the People of Cyprus and develops an extensive treatment of prophecy, revelation, the Bible, Christian doctrine, Qurʾānic interpretation, reason, and historical transmission. A critically annotated English edition is in preparation.
